Anthony began his flute career with a solid classical training from his private lesson instructor Kathleen Course, may she Rest In Peace. Coupled with attending any and every musical camp his family could afford him, including 5 consecutive years at the nationally acclaimed music camp, Interlochen. "I'm nothing without the training and OTJ experience I have received over the years," he said.

About Anthony

Inspired by early Jazz legends of the '60s and '70s, Anthony grew up listening to great  jazz songs from his father's collection. He cultivated his original style while playing 4 nights a week with his home town band in Michigan, where he also performed at local Festivals.

Anthony began writing music back in high school, inspired by his high school friend and fellow band member CT. Hearing about music theory at that age about scales other than major, melodic minor and harmonic minor was intriguing. What is this Dorian, Lydian, Mixolydian etc. These types of scales brought a whole new meaning to composition. Though unable at the time to know what to do with those modes the creative juices started flowing.

Fast forward to today Anthony now writes music that closely resembles a mix between Jazz and New Age and more recently Hip Hop blends. You might notice times when there actually isn't any flute in the tunes. When Anthony feels a flute is an inappropriate feel for the song then he writes without flute involved and he is ok with that. It is more important to get the song that he is feeling out to the public.
